About me...
Since some people ask for more photos of me, I decided to post a few more photos of me. I also figured I would divulge more information about who I am so that you can get a better sense of me as a person -- and therefore make you feel more comfortable when scheduling a massage appointment with me.

See these smiling photos?  That accurately reflects who I am -- I've been told by tons of people that I smile A LOT :)  So much so I was called "smiley" in junior high school LOL.  I guess it's just my innate nature -- I'm naturally optimistic, energetic, and upbeat.  I love to goof around and joke a lot, and I love interacting with people (yeah, I guess I'm what you call a "people person", he he :)).

I grew up in the Washington, DC area (yup, I'm one of the few "natives" around here).  My family and friends are out here, but I find myself travelling to Los Angeles 2 - 3 times each year (I have many friends there too, and I love SoCal weather).  After changing majors in college from biochemistry to nutrition to sociology to business administration, I ended up working in the IT field (aka computer geek LOL).  Around 1996 my interest was sparked in massage therapy and long story short, I ended up opening my massage practice around 1998.  I like doing massage therapy since I like interacting with people and like seeing people leave my place feeling more relaxed than when they first arrived onto my massage table.

As far as other personality traits about me go, I'm extremely open and honest and know the importance of communicating truthfully in a manner that is humane.  I also am accepting of people and varying lifestyles and choices -- I like to make people feel like they can interact openly and honestly with me without a fear of being judged.  I am also a passionate person and that passion extends to many interests such as tennis (big tennis nut here), politics, bodybuilding (I've also done some physique modeling), cars (I'm a BIG car enthusiast, NOT to be confused with a "car snob" since I don't put a person's value based on the cars they drive).  I also love amusement parks (big rollercoaster freak), beaches, nudism, hiking, walking, road trips.  Musically I am forever a child of the '80s -- Duran Duran, Erasure, Go-Go's, Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Heart, Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, Depeche Mode, etc. etc. are what I love.  But I'm not confined to just the 80s -- I actually have pretty broad musical tastes including current artists (love Pink, Christina Aguilera, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Nelly, Paul Van Dyk).

I'm also very much into healthy living, inspired by tennis legend Martina Navratilova.  When I was a kid I grew up wanting to be as ripped, muscular, and vascular as her LOL  Martina is not your typical boyhood idol, huh?  But she truly inspired me to get into tennis, weightlifting, cardio, eating healthy (most of the time), not consuming alcohol, drugs, steroids, smoking, or caffeine (except when I indulge in my weakeness for chocolate, he he :)).  I achieved my physique with just a lot of very intense hard work (I've never done steroids or anything like that, I've never even done creatine -- the only supplements I've ever taken are multivitamins or protein bars).  I grew up as a kid who was very unathletic and not muscular, and usually last to be picked on a team in gym class.  But that started changing when I was 16 and was having a meteoric rise in my tennis skills and beat other kids in tennis who were the big athletes in my high school.  Then I got into playing competitive tennis in local USTA tournaments until I was 27.  I hit around recreationally nowadays but still follow tennis on a daily basis either online, on TV, and/or going to a tournament in person.

Well, that's a brief summary of who I am.  Of course there's a lot more to me than what I just typed here, but at least it gives you a good enough idea about who I am, what I'm about :)   Hopefully revealing this information about myself will make you feel more at ease with scheduling a massage appointment.  Please feel free to email me or call my cell @ 202.903.7700 to schedule a massage appointment :)
